1. How many alarms can each user profile have?
Each user can have one alarm active. Each alarm operates for one safe location. If you think you need more, please let us know! We would love to hear from you.
2. Why didn't my safe contact receive a SMS / Text from GuardOwl?
Some people's phone number is on a blocked text list. We cannot send SMS messages if their number is blocked by their carrier. We recommend taking advantage of the "email" field for safe contacts as well as the phone number. This way GuardOwl has two methods of contact your safe contacts if you aren't at your safe location.
3. How do I send my Last Location to contacts?
When you click on one of your Safe Contacts, you are directed to their stored information.
On the top right of the screen there are 3 little dots.
Click on those then Edit and check the box for sending the Last Known Location to this contact.
Safe these changes when done!
4. How do I adjust the Safe Zone circle on the map?
Click on that safe zone.
On the top right of the screen you will see three little dots. Click on those then Edit.
On the bottom of the screen you will see a bar ranging from 10 meters to 500 meters.
Simply slide the dot on the bar to the desired safe zone size and click Save.
